What is Airsoft?
Airsoft is a tactical combat simulation game where players use 6mm plastic BBs launched from realistic replica weapons. At Ravenshead, we focus on safe, objective-based gameplay in our high-adrenaline skirmish zones.
Where are you based?
We are centrally located in Nottinghamshire at Chapel Ln, Ravenshead, NG15 9DH (Opposite the Sherwood Ranger pub). Our site is easily accessible and offers limited on-site parking for all visitors.
Is there an age limit?
The minimum age to play at Ravenshead Airsoft is 11. All under-18s must have a signed parental consent form and wear full face protection.
How long does a session last?
A typical walk-on or rental day starts at 8:30 AM with a safety briefing at 9:30 AM and runs until 3:30 PM. We play multiple scenarios throughout the day with a scheduled lunch break included in your booking fee.
What shouLd I wear?
It is generally advised to wear layers such as a long sleeved t-shirts, hoodies or a waterproof jacket, as well as thick trousers or joggers. We play in all weather conditions so please dress accordingly.
How do i apply for a membership
To apply for a membership, speak to a member of staff in person on a game day.
Memberships include discounted day rates, and a free Ravenshead Airsoft patch.
Booking & Rentals
How to Book Your Session
Pre-bookings are advised to secure your spot and ensure site capacity, however we do accept walk-ons. To book please see the 'book online' section and complete the online checkout to secure your spot.
What's in a Rental Package?
Our comprehensive rental package includes everything required for battle: a selection of high-quality electronic airsoft rifle (AEG), one hi-capacity magazine, 2,000 rounds of 0.2 BBs, and a full-face ballistic safety mask. Tactical vests are available on request for additional protection.
Bringing Your Own Equipment
All players are welcome to bring their own gear. However, all Realistic Imitation Firearms (RIFs) must pass our mandatory on-site chrono test before entering the field.

Safety Briefing
Starts strictly at 09:30. No briefing, no play. Ensure you arrive by 09:00 to kit up and be ready for the critical safety walkthrough.

0.20g: 350 FPS (AEG/GBB), 400 FPS (DMR), 500 FPS (BOLT ACTION)
0.25g: 315 FPS (AEG/GBB), 358 FPS (DMR), 447 FPS (BOLT ACTION)
0.28g: 296 FPS (AEG/GBB), 338 FPS (DMR), 423 FPS (BOLT ACTION)
0.30g: 286 FPS (AEG/GBB), 327 FPS (DMR), 408 FPS (BOLT ACTION)
0.32g: 277 FPS (AEG/GBB), 316 FPS (DMR), 395 FPS (BOLT ACTION)

All RIFs must under go chrono at the start of the day.
Spots checks will be carried out at random.

Age Requirements

UKARA REGISTRATION
To register with UKARA and legally purchase RIFs, you must become a member and play at least 3 games in no less than 56 days at our site. We provide the mandatory UKARA forms and site validation once you qualify. Membership is £20 annually and includes insurance coverage and site fee discounts.
